Editor

A text entry field where the user can create or edit an article. A range of edit boxes are available - a global setting specifies the site's default editor but users can stipulate their own preference amongst those installed on the site. WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editors offer an easy way to format an article without the user having to know HTML (or any of those other difficult three or four letter acronyms).

Extensions

Components, Modules, Mambots, Templates, Plugins, or Languages that extend your Joomla! installation. Many of these elements are already bundled into the Joomla! Core release and they can be third-party add-on elements.
