Editorial Review:
Product Description: A revolution in usability is fueling the continued growth of the computer industry. Graphical user interfaces and improved input/output devices have made computing power more accessible to wider variety of people. Despite these advances, there is still a need to raise awareness of the human factors in user interface design, and this book is designed to meet this need.

This book provides an overview of items to consider when creating a software application. This book is an easy read that talks about many usability topics, however it doesn't really go into much detail on any of them. It will not teach you how to do usability evaluations or design any experiments. I would recommended this book to people that want to get vaguely familiar with usability. I would not recommend this book to someone that wanted to learn how to do usability evaluations or learn indepth details on designing usable interfaces.
