This witty and objective book offers jargon-free language and clear descriptions that will help you: - Learn how to control the appearance of your web pages with CSS, from the basics to advanced techniques
- Design dynamic database-driven websites, from blogs to product catalogs, and from shopping carts to newsletter signup forms
- Add interactivity to your website with ready-to-use JavaScript programs from Adobe's Spry Framework

I'm starting up a web design business and didn't even know what I didn't know. I bought MANY books, but none have been as thoroughly useful as this one. I literally have it tabbed and flagged like a reference book. I first read it cover to cover, and now I refer to it regularly. If you're new to Dreamweaver CS4, this is the most important book you can own.

A wealth of information! If you can find the time to finish this book, you'll become an expert! The book takes you along in incremental steps, It doesn't assume that you already understand any previous Dreamweaver content. Over 800 pages!

This is the best book I've found on Dreamweaver CS4. Web building is such an expansive subject it would be impossible to cover everything in a book, even if it's over 1000 pages, but it does come close to covering just about everything in Dreamweaver CS4.

I have very little experience and this book is extremely helpful. Highly recommend for beginners

This manual was great. I've almost read it cover to cover, which is difficult with computer manuals.
