The character, courage, and commitment were there all along. The events of September 11 provided the occasion for these qualities to be clearly seen. Firefighting is one of the most hazardous and stressful jobs the world. Many deaths of firemen come from heart attacks. Stephen Darcangelo, Fire Chief in Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania says, "stress kills." He says in firefighting "you go from idle to full tilt in a matter of seconds.

Our church purchased these Bibles for the firefighters at our first responder fire dept. The quality was great and the background info for some of the firefighter traditions was really interesting. There are also sections that specifically minister to firefighters in their profession. These are a great gift for the dept., friends, or family members who sacrifice so much to serve us everyday.

I purchased The Firefighters Bible as a Christmas gift for my son who is currently in classes studying to be a Volunteer Fireman. I am very please with the product and the price was great!

This is a very good gift for anyone you may know who serves in the Fire service or EMT capacity. It is a great encouragement for those who know the Lord or for those who need to know Him.

Every firefighter should own this book. It's excellent and filled with readings and ceremonial programs in the appendix.

I bought this for my dad for Christmas and was so excited I just knew he would love it, but when it got here, three days after Christmas (amazon had promised it would be on time, but DHL dropped it off at the post office the Sat. before instead of taking it to our door!) the font was really really small. The bible is very nice, and the size makes it easy to carry to and from the station, but I'm 25 and it was too small for even me to read for any period of time. Kinda disappointed, but everything else about it was great.
