We bought this book and like a lot of books you buy from Amazon, it can be a case of "hope it wasn't a waste of time" - this books was not - it's awesome, an absolute win. It's so much better than I thought it would be that it makes up for the "misses" we had with other books in the same shipment. It's a great snap shot of materials, their uses, examples and even rough costs of materials. If you're a designer and are wondering what material to use, get this book, it's a great step in the right direction.

Chris Lefter did a very good job combining his previous books. If you are a product designer, this book will definately benefit your career.
