Simply pressing the button on the turtle's shell ignites the stars and keeps them glowing for a full 45 minutes--just enough time for most children to drift into sleep. Such a great novel gift- you don't really see these in stores, except in high-end baby boutiques. Received this for my daughter as a baby. She loved it then, and still loves it now- at nearly 5 years old! The stars are really beautiful; I kinda want one for my own room. Also, my daughter was REALLY rough on it as a baby, throwing it down the stairs several times. I thought it would break, but it's still going strong- and it's so adorable.

Got it for her birthday and my sister said her daughter hugs it when she goes to sleep. It shoots a star light pattern on the ceiling. I'm glad I got it for her.

I was looking for something that would reflect on my sons walls or ceiling. Prior to purchasing this item I had the ocean wonders mobile with porjection. I HATED THAT it ran on 4 "D" batteries and would die every 2 days. I love the fact that this product works with "aaa" batteries they last longer and are not a expensive to replace. I think the 45 minute time limit is perfect because my 3 1/2 month old takes a while to fall asleep on his own. The only thing I had to do to make this product better was suspend it from the ceiling with release strips so he could see it better and I could just give it a tap and it wouls move. I love this product so much that I am buying 3 more for my friends who are having babies in December and Febuary.

Sleep Sheep is a savior! My 8 month old daughter finally fell asleep on her own listening to the sound of the ocean. That's her favorite one. She sleeps so much longer than she used to before. I highly recommed it!

We loved this sheep until the volume control knob came off in our 10 month old daughter's mouth, posing a serious choking hazard as it is an irregularly shaped object about the size of a gumball. Buyer beware.
6/9/06 Amendment: Upon hearing about our scare, the Cloud B company immediately stopped all production of the Sleep Sheep, and has assured us that they have redesigned the sound box in all new sleep sheep so that the volume control knob will not be able to come off.
