Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Antenna review
The product works well, although sometimes is incapable of picking up weak signals, due perhaps to the building structure. The signal captured is clear and neat. Good product.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great little antenna for picking up HD locals
This very affordable digital antenna does a heck of a job picking HD local channels. My satellite provider does not have locals in my area (Indianapolis). I live 11-17 miles from the broadcast towers and have no landscape or building obstructions to interfere with the signal, so I went with a passive (versus a more expensive amplified) antenna. This antenna picks up CW, PBS, FOX, CBS, NBC, and ABC in HD with a signal strength of 77-98% (avg. ~88%). I have this antenna setting behind my 50" Panny Plasma (obscuring its massive ugliness) and connected through a ViP 722 (allowing the recording of OTA signals onto the DVR). The only cons (as previously mentioned in other reviews) is the size of the antenna (bigger than 3' x 3' when extended) and the short length of the coax connection cable (~3'). Overall, this antenna gives a big bang for a small buck.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - ok..but not as good as I had hoped
Based on the reviews I had read prior to buying this product, I had thought I was getting a really good bargain. And yes, I do have more now than I had before, but I get two channels that are very fuzzy. One that is very very fuzzy. And one that you can almost hear something going on, but you can't see anything. I do get PBS on one channel, but it's not any that shows up on any of my TV Guides anywhere I can find, so I don't ever know what's going to be on that channel. Basically, like I said, a few channels I can hardly see are better than no channels at all, but I defintely should have spent the money and bought one that was a little better

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Only 1 HD channel
I bought this for only $10 after great reviews. Plugged it into my Panasonic HDTV and got only 1 clear HD signal. I returned it and purchased a TERK HDTVa. So far over 430 people have given the Terk HDTVa a mostly positive review. Will wait and see. Maybe the lack of power makes a different although some people insist it doesn't.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A solid option for suburban digital viewing
Because of costs and the fact that we don't watch much TV, our family recently decided to jettison satellite and go back to the venerable over-the-air broadcasts. I have a standard definition TV, so in anticipation of the change to DTV, I purchased this antenna alongside a digital converter box.

I decided to take a chance on this little unit because it was the least expensive out there, figuring it was worth a risk before I started sinking more money. As it turns out, the RCA antenna works great -- we have about 11 digital channels in our area and this device brings in all of them, even with the antennas fully retracted. What's more, the picture is fantastic (satellite-quality) and our digital tuner reports that the signal strength is quite strong. I had to do very little manual adjusting to make it work.

Now, a disclaimer -- we live about 15 miles from a mid-sized city, so our location is pretty close. That said, I'm glad I took my chances with this little ... Read More
