This costume is really not well made, and see through. It was ripped at the seam within one hour of having it on. I had to sew a shirt under it just to keep her covered up. It is also made a little large. If your daughter is skinny you may want to buy a smaller size. I had to again sew it to make it fit her better.The good part about it is that she won second place in the city costume contest.

The costume is way to big but they tell you this so that did not come as a surprise but I thought it would be nicer material so I was surprised how cheaply made it was put together. My daughter is a huge Ariel lover so she was happy with it so I quess thats what was most important.

Both my daugthter and I were very pleased with this costume! The sizing was very accurate and arrived exactly as it was pictured on Amazon.

my child has always wanted to be a mermaid and this was the perfect outfit for her..it fit well and she thought it was great

I bought this for my just-turned 3 year-old daughter to wear for Halloween last October. It is now mid-May and she has worn it practically every single day since then. If you have a daughter who loves mermaids - this costume will be a huge hit.
The costume was very big but we just stitched up the shoulders to tighten the fit around the neckline and that did the trick. Also, our very well worn costume has lost lots of sequins and is shredding - but my daughter could not care less.
