I ordered this according to the length of my dog - he's a Chihuahua and he's long and skinny with long legs - the size they had for his length according to the chart is gigantic!
That being said, the jacket itself is really amazing! The hood is really large so it fits over the ears. The outside is kind of waterproof, and it's just so warm - perfect for our super cold winters.
