Editorial Review:
Album Description: Platinum-selling recording artist Deborah Cox returns with her first new studio album in six years, The Promise. The album marks the former Clive Davis protege's return to the world of R&B, wher her song 'Nobody's Supposed To Be Here' broke the record for the longest-running number one singele on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip Hip Songs chart. Top-flight production help from Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Jon Legend, and Devo Springsteen assure that The Promise will be Deborah Cox's biggest release yet!

Miss cox is back with a cd that is well worth the wait there is nothing more frustrating to wait sometimes years for a artist to release a new cd only to wonder what they were doing and you feel half the tracks are fillers knocked up at the last minute to finish the cd but none of that here EVERY track sounds like its been written produced and arranged with love and care if you love good music buy this album for me its a cd i would never want to be without in my collection.

Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis aided Cox with this album and they did such a great job. This album is nice from start to finish, but the standout tracks are what really make it shine. The ... Read More
