Ok...I love ABBA...I loved the show but this movie is such a let down for me. Merly Streep was ok in the movie but really only the girl who plays Sophie could sing...the rest ESPECIALLY Pierce Brosnan, I mean oh my god, he Cannot sing, so why was he in a musical? alright so maybe he is in because of his name, but Sophie's boyfriend, was not good looking and couldnt sing and he is not known...makes no sense. The movie was like a better staged version of the play, I wish they made more use of scenery and had better dance moves...it was fun for a while but towards the end, I was skipping the dvd forward...
Skip it and get an ABBA CD instead

Ce film est tout simplement amusant. Il est évident que l'ensemble du casting est une explosion, et leur enthousiasme est contagieux. Bien sûr il ya des mauvais points de la caméra et la voix de Brosnan n'est pas de formation classique, mais qui s'en soucie? Il chante assez bien, et son chant se développe vraiment surtout par l'intermédiaire du film.
C'est un film amusant avec des chansons accrocheuses, une histoire amusante, et une fin heureuse. J'ai vraiment apprécié, et je n'en pouvais plus d'attendre de posséder le film dans ma vidéothèque.
Les films n'ont pas à être toujours des grandes oeuvres d'art. Parfois, il suffit tout simplement être divertissant, ce film est merveilleux.
Le paysage est magnifique (j'ai envie de visiter la Grèce!). Je pense que les acteurs (en particulier "les filles" du film) a eu du plaisir à faire ça, et cela se voit.

I saw Mamma Mia 6 times in the theatre and now with this DVD I can watch it every day (well almost!) and finally sing along in my own home unimpeded! Mamma Mia is so much fun to watch and each time I come away feeling so great! It has an amazing cast of characters! Meryl Strep is magnificent! I also own the Soundtrack which captures the magic of the movie. What a great CD to sing along to while driving. If you love the movie, you have to own the soundtrack too!

...you can still enjoy this musical. The story is hilarious and the actors list impressive. If you like ABBA then don't even consider not watching this!

After watching this movie, I wanted to watch it again! The movie is extremely well done, following the same fluidity as the Broadway show. The added bonus are the stars who play in it. Pierce is such a HOOT! When you watch it, make sure to watch it until the very end. You'll be laughing so hard your sides will hurt!
