Brome 1015 Squirrel Buster Classic. The patented Squirrel Buster technology is truly squirrel proof. Thousands of delighted bird lovers have confirmed it. The Squirrel Buster Classic has openings in the wire grid that align with the seed ports and provide birds access to the seed. I already had this product and wanted to buy another as a gift. Very pleased with product and it really is squirrel proof. Is is less expensive and much better design then other squirrel proof feeders that I have seen

I like this feeder a lot for the price and the birds love it too. They seem to like how it spins on the hanger as it is hung by a flexible cable rather than a rigid hook. This one empties long before my other feeder which is a Brome Squirrel Buster Plus. Of course that could be because the Plus model has a much larger capacity than this one. I can't really say how squirrel proof it is as we don't have very many squirrels. We do have a few squirrels and I've seen them try to get to the feeder, but they don't seem to be very successful. Also, it appears that this feeder will be very easy to clean when the time comes.

I've had this feeder for a few months now and it works perfectly. I live in the Puget Sound WA area and maybe my gray squirrels are not that bright, but they have not figured out a way to get the seed other than waiting on the ground for the birds to drop it.

I ordered a Squirrel Buster bird feeder for about $30.00 and the shipping was about $17.00 which I believe is excessive. I have written this review at least 4 times and you keep sending me messages for my comments. Please do not sent me any more messages.

I live in an area with a lot of old oak trees, so the community has a huge squirrel population. I have had problems with the little furry guys before - they can literally empty an entire feeder in an hour. I have purchased more expensive models before, but the squirrels figured out a way to hang upside down and raid the seed. This product works extremely well - it doesn't stop the squirrels from trying, but they get discouraged after awhile and jump down, leaving the seed alone.
One morning I woke up to find the shepherds hook I had the bird feeder hanging on bent to the ground and the feeder in the middle of the yard on its side. We had a windstorm during the night, so I figured it blew down. The next day I woke up to the same thing - and the feeder was completely empty.
